This is a very special presentation watch probably to it's 1st Pastor. 16/S Elgin model #3 15J gilt hunting movement No. 5468208 gilt balance cock, pallet bridge and wheel appears to be gold. Extra heavy 18K double bezel swing ring case No. 4836. Inner back lid is engraved in script From the members of the First U.S. Church of Xenia, Ohio, U.S.A. February 15, 1865. Extra special watch. Case needs minor work to stay closed all the time. Inner bezel missing its cyrstal needs minor work to stay closed. Does not appear sprung, pin seems out of alignment. Movement has a dust ring. This is a confusing watch as it is cased in a 18/S case but, the Elgin serial number and data base call it a 16/S.
